And His name will be called, Wonderful, counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace -Is.9:6b NKJV

There is no end to peace that comes from God, but the peace of the world is temporal. When we become like the Prince of Peace in word and deed, when His character becomes our character we receive His peace in our souls. This is the same way His death and resurrection makes it possible for us to have power and authority, so also we have his peace with God. See Rom. 5:8.

It is the indwelling of life and character we adopt as we abides in Him through the workings of the Holy Spirit in our lives that gives us His peace. At His crucification, when he noticed that His disciples were afraid, He gave them the promise of another comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, to further alley their fears, Jesus said, “peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” (John 14:26-27 kJV).

Friends, look not on things that happens daily around you, nor feed your thoughts with daily news of evils in our cities and our world, rather surrender to the Prince of Peace to do His will as you believe and replace the news with His word, this will bring you inner rest and His peace will replace your fear

At this trying times of uncertainty and despairs, we can obtain a perfect peace when we keep our heart and mind focused on God’s promise, power,  and His presence.

For our God will keep us in perfect peace,(completely safe) when we maintain a steady faith to trust in Him. (Read Is.26:3).
